How We Wear It : New Year's Eve!

I've never been a huge fan of wearing sparkles on New Years Eve BUT I am a huge fan of wearing loads of sparklies on my fingers. So when I was tasked with building a stack worthy of a New Years Eve celebration I loaded up on colors, textures and shapes - you can see the full look dancing around on our homepage.

Lunch Lady: Girl Crush

So by this point it's pretty obvious that our obsession with Dina's taco truck (La Troca Del Sabor on N4th btwn Bedford and Berry) has gotten a liiiiiittle out of hand. At first it was maybe just a few of us waiting in line once or twice a week and now it's come to the point where if you even mention the word taco you will have a lunch list as long as Melissa's arm within seconds. Veggie Burrito- no rice, Pork Burrito- no cheese & extra sour cream, 2 Veggie Tacos- no peppers, Chicken Taco- extra onion & no cilantro, a million Coca Cola Classics, extra hot sauce, extra cream, etcetera etcetera. I have to say the orders get pretty wild sometimes and she never messes up.

Soooo Lizzie came up with the awesome idea of giving her a Christmas gift! Actually she's been talking about giving Dina a gift since like July or something, that's how far the obsession goes. So all of us Catbirdettes decided a cute pair of our SS Heart Studs were the perfect way to go. And as you can see she was beyond thrilled!!

So here's to Catbird's Woman Of The Year- Dina <3

We always feel thankful for having the nicest customers but today we are feeling extra thankful because in the midst of the holiday craze, a customer left us this - the sweetest note of all time. For my roommate, Grace, Lulu Organics Travel Hair Powder, $10.00, because she works as an actress/pastry chef/ mixologist at a restaurant in the West Village. She is always running to& from auditions on her days off or between shifts, and needs to be ready to look her best at the drop of a dime. This hair powder is small enough to fit in her purse, smells like fresh floral herbs, and is organic - an added bonus. 

Royal Cocktail Coasters, $18.00 and Royal Rose Simple Syrups, $11.00, because she is well-versed in her drink repertoire - she'd get a serious kick out of the cute little illustrations on these coasters, and the Simple Syrups are a great add on for a delicious cocktail!

Calling all snow bunnies!
