If you have enough money and you’re happy, why not?

Desert Sharks new EP!

We feel pretty lucky to have a flock of pretty incredibly amazing birds, one the them being Steph G who you will often find trotting around the shop in a high pony accompanied with some hot shorts and the biggest, sincerest smile! But when she's not helping our customers build their dream stacks she is one of the mega babes known as Desert Sharks!

We've got pretty exciting news about these ladies, they just released their new EP, Sister Cousins, which you can listen to and download here. They are also currently pressing it on vinyl (could they get any cooler?), slated for this upcoming March! AND they're playing a release show this Thursday, January 10, at Shea Stadium. 

If you can't make it to their show be sure to check them out below recording their track "I Know What I Want" at Converse Rubber Tracks Studio.

My friend Tami introduced me to Edward Gorey when I slept over her house when we were about 13 years old. We stayed up late laughing uproariously at The Epileptic Bicycle. (What??) So now, here I am, quite a number of years later (ahem) and so very pleased to be selling his work. What comes around goes around, right Tam?

How amazing are these illustrations? The smarties at Loeffler Randall worked with Stockholm-based illustrator, Cecilia Carlstedt, to launch their Pre-Fall 2011 collection. Genius.

White Winged Dove

I have posted about my love for Stevie Nicks before, and we even devoted this week's home page to her, but my love does not hold a candle to Johanna's. This UK artist's sole subject is Stevie - from limited edition prints to custom painted tambourines. I will be buying a print for myself. (Sorry DW.)

On a related note, one of our Extremely Fabulous customers bought a pair of Claire's Amazon feather earrings ($86) for his Night of 1000 Stevies outfit. (Send us pics! And tell us: did she show up this year??!)
