Of a Kind

We collaborated with Of a Kind to create these limited edition beauties - Chained to My Heart Earrings with Blue Sapphires!! They are only available through Of a Kind and will soon sell out!

Plus you can read some interesting details about our staff and find out who loves cold meatballs for breakfast and who loves Wayne's World. (Hint: it's not these two bad asses.)

Steph & Rachel. Power to the people.

WWW Spring Earring Guide!

Thanks, Who What Wear, for including us in your Spring Earring Guide!!

Dark and Stormy Earrings, $98.  Also featured: Astrid Studs, $150.

What We Love Today: Ear Cuffs!!

I have been wearing mine since the day we made them, about a month or so ago, without taking it off. So just go ahead and turn on Sinéad O'Connor, lace up your combat boots, but keep it classy with a simple, understated ear cuff that won't make people roll their eyes at you.

Available in store and on line in Silver ($38), 14k Yellow Gold ($78) and 14k Rose Gold ($XX)

What We're Giving: Ash

Ash picks gifts for her three best gals: her mama, her aunt and her sister!

Rodin Luxury Hair Oil - For my beautiful mom because she has the most amazing blonde mermaid hair and I know she'd definitely appreciate some help keeping it healthy. Plus it smells unbelievably good. $65.00

The Wild Unknown Songwriters Calendar - For my Aunt because she really influenced my taste in music growing up and I know she'd absolutely love to have this for her little craft room. $30.00

14k Yellow Gold Alphabet Earrings - Alyse! My sister! Besides the fact that she's always snatching my jewelry right off of me whenever we're together, she's wanted these forever so she can spell out something cool. $48.00/each

What We Love Today: Good Luck

Who couldn't use a little extra luck? (Also, Lady Sybil bought a pair of these, which doesn't hurt how I feel about them. :) )

Horseshoe Stud Earrings: Vermeil $32, Sterling Silver $28

What We Love Today: Diamond Dancer Earrings

Let yourself be mesmerized as they bob, weave and dance in the sun.

How We Wear It : Earrings

I've always wanted multiple ear piercings and since I've known Ash I've envied her collection of mis-matched stacks of studs that always seem to make perfect sense. Here she is wearing three of my most favorite earrings, a Lauren Wolf Blue Sapphire Stud ($176), Nancy Kraskin Dot Earring in Yellow Gold, $80/set and Catbird Rose Gold Heart, $96/set.

Famous Lovers: Hopelessly Devoted

She: Just a sweet Australian transplanted to a very American high school where everyone looks like they're thirty.
He: A hot-to-trot greaser who might be more sensitive then he lets on - and can dance the entire friggin' universe under the table. Oh Danny - you can't be everything to everyone.

Tell me about it, stud.

It's Electrifying: Lightning Bolt Earrings, $26

Spikes and plates.

One of our favorite ladies, the beautiful (and sweet!) Kelly (aka The Glamourai), just posted some photos of her apartment. I'm particularly fond of her gilt-gold dollar store dinosaurs; the pair of goofy-elegant rhinestone and brass leaf earrings she picked up from the store a few weeks ago sits in between the scales of the stegosaurus.

Stars and Ampersands!

Cheeky new additions to our best-selling Alphabet studs! Available as pairs, or with letters of your choice. In gold and silver.

Want to see something beautiful?

These new, slightly mismatched pairs of tourmaline earrings from Elizabeth Street just take my breath away. Each is set in 18k gold according to the natural shape of the stone. They. Are. So. Beautiful.

InStyle

Our girl Claire's feather earrings are hanging out in the October issue of InStyle, looking easy, breezy and beautiful. Rony's wore her pair to the ballet, I've worn mine to the farmer's market. We like our drama casual.

Claire Kinder Studio feather earrings, $86 in store and online

Say hello to my little friends.

These teensy studs are the perfect gift when you have no idea what sort of jewelry she likes. Even those who wear big bold earrings can wear these in second holes - they're just perfect. But mostly, we like when people buy them as gifts for themselves.

Black Diamond Studs, $180  |  White Diamond Studs, $270  |  Pearl Studs, $190  |  Ruby Studs, $180

So sweet.

A person's a person. No matter how small.

So, gently, and using the greatest of care,
The elephant stretched his great trunk through the air,
And he lifted the dust speck and carried over
And placed it down, safe, on a very soft clover.
Inspired by tonight's bedtime story. It never gets old - not even a tiny bit.

What We Love Today: Rough Ruby STuds

Born in July? Well, first of all, Happy Birthday! Second of all, you are a lucky duck to have such a versatile and beautiful birthstone. My new favorites are these rough ruby studs with 14k gold prongs by catbird mainstay Lauren Wolf.

White Winged Dove

I have posted about my love for Stevie Nicks before, and we even devoted this week's home page to her, but my love does not hold a candle to Johanna's. This UK artist's sole subject is Stevie - from limited edition prints to custom painted tambourines. I will be buying a print for myself. (Sorry DW.)

On a related note, one of our Extremely Fabulous customers bought a pair of Claire's Amazon feather earrings ($86) for his Night of 1000 Stevies outfit. (Send us pics! And tell us: did she show up this year??!)

The happiest little skull you ever did see.

Make the best of what you've got. Love these little guys, available also with pink or navy bows.

Skull and bow earrings, $34

What We Love Today: Stephanie Simek pussy willow earrings

A little whisper of spring in your ear. Is spring even the season for pussy willows? I'm not sure, but it sure sounds good.

Stephanie Simek oxidized silver pussy willow earrings, in store and online $125

Otherworldly Earbobs

Continuing in the bigger, better vein; while Rony covers her fingers, I'm looking to do up my ears. I'm particularly vain about my single pointy elf ear.
