What We Love Today: Grey Garden Perfume

For the lady who likes it spicy, mysterious, musky, sexy, decaying, rose-drenched, and a little off. This is for the alley cats, the late-night jazz records listeners, the bad girls in black.

I'm in.

We Have Been Working Hard for You!

Our expanding ornament selection.

Our Holiday Card section.
We have been slaving through our various illnesses to bring you what you demanded last year: more of our holidays selection on line. The response has been overwhelming! We will, without a doubt, sell out of all of our holiday items so I recommend moving quick like this Winter Bunny, who, really, is a little on the chubby side, so perhaps he is not too quick.

Holiday Cards & Holiday Ornaments

Finally here!

I have entirely lost track of how many Bittersweets famous letter rings I have given as gifts. They are tiny and perfect and personal and I have never not had someone's face light up when they unwrap the box.  I swear it to be so.

Bittersweets famous letter rings, now available online! (an in store) $125

Me and My Arrow

You've got to love a jewelry collection that's inspired by a Harry Nilsson song. Digby & Iona's stellar new collection, recently featured on Refinery29 and available here.

Need help finding a gift?

We thought long and hard about all of the thoughtful, yet somewhat bewildered men we help in the store. With that in mind we slaved away for months to create this gift finder, in the hopes of helping out the more confused sex. Ladies - tell your menfolk!

Link is on the top of the website.

What We Love Today: Rough Ruby STuds

Born in July? Well, first of all, Happy Birthday! Second of all, you are a lucky duck to have such a versatile and beautiful birthstone. My new favorites are these rough ruby studs with 14k gold prongs by catbird mainstay Lauren Wolf.

Hats on.

Good citizens, keep your skin smooth and fair, block that pesky sun. Our best selling summer hat is finally on line. Looks good on everyone. And totally adorbs with your new bathing suit. $48

Oooooh sparkly!

Much like a goldfish, I pause at all things sparkly. These new polished by nail maven Deborah Lippman are the stunning-est. Great for anyone whose nails are calling for luxury.

P.S. What's with all the branching out, right? Chocolates, nail polish... Soon you'll forget that our specialty is delicious jewelry.

The happiest little skull you ever did see.

Make the best of what you've got. Love these little guys, available also with pink or navy bows.

Skull and bow earrings, $34

Strange bedfellows

I like to imagine Mrs. Mandelbaum and Mrs. Lipski running into this fine gentleman on their evening stroll. Perhaps they'd enjoy a nightcap and some talk about the good old times, in a smoky, forgotten piano bar.

Maira Kalman Evening Stroll card, $4.95
John Derian gentleman paperweight, $30

Cheap & Cheerful

We recently learned the expression "cheap and cheerful" from a lovely Australian customer. It means "costing little money but attractive, pleasant, or enjoyable". It inspired me to create this new section of the website which contains some of our favorite gifty, non-jewelry items - all under $50. You're welcome.

For Véra, love Vladimir

So very pleased to share with you the newest piece in my collection, a big beautiful bronze butterfly, cast from a brooch that belonged to my grandmother, Nana Hannah.

Jezebel bronze butterfly necklace on brass chain, $220
