Strange bedfellows

I like to imagine Mrs. Mandelbaum and Mrs. Lipski running into this fine gentleman on their evening stroll. Perhaps they'd enjoy a nightcap and some talk about the good old times, in a smoky, forgotten piano bar.

Ladies & Gentlemen...

We are pleased to introduce our new friends, Conroy & Wilcox, in store today! and online so soon, we promise. Online now!

Sweet, simple with a twist. Or point, rather.

We originally spotted Fay Andrada's teardrop bangles on Sarah's blog and needed them. So we got them. You should, too, if you'd like. No pressure.

Absinthe

A much belated thank you to those who came to our absinthe cocktail party, and especially to the lovely Leslie who was so sweet and gracious and made the MOST delicious cocktail ever!

The Cherry Blossom Girl

We're blushing up a storm of roses over here. Such beautiful photos of our alphabet rings by beautiful Alix aka The Cherry Blossom Girl.

Blank Generation

Perfect follow up to Please Kill Me, a miss your subway stop kind of book Rony turned me on to. Sorry Williamsburg, but you've got nothing on downtown in the 70s.

Jazzy hands (title gods, forgive me)

Here's my hands, with my super-fancy wedding manicure, done right across the street from us, by the amazing Naomi, at Hello Beautiful. Squint, and you can tell that my left hand has my name written on my nails, and on my right, his. The best part: they last for a month! Oh, and I'm wearing my St. Kilda Rapture engagement ring, and my wedding rings: a Satomi Kawakita thin band, and a Catbird conflict-free eternity band.

April is the Travelliest Month

I guess catbirds migrate in April. Leigh is just back from honeymooning in Paris, Allison is in Barbados, Cat is Down South and I am on my way to Paris tomorrow to visit these fine fellows. May will bring some homesteading - and our annual sidewalk sale! Stay tuned, kittens.

Afternoon, delightful

Squealed with glee when I came across this photo of Sheila Marquez, looking stunning, with a belt bag from Catbird slung around her waist. Come get yours quick. Sadly, smoldering beauty not included.

Invisible man.

Chinese artist Liu Bolin camouflages himself into any surroundings with paint. It can take him up to 10 hours for a single shot. WOW!

We heart Refinery29.

See the whole post here. Turkmen jewels in store only.

Also seen on the impossibly charming The Glamorai.
