A pre-Halloween Halloween tale.

Some years back, I was walking around the neighborhood with my dear friend Rachel. It was Halloween, we were strolling with some coffees, peeping at the wee witches and what-have-you's, when a little girl tugged on her mom's sleeve and said, pointing at us, "Look, Mom! Baby Bijoux

The world is exploding with babies! Or, at least my social set is - 4 in the last 2 weeks! My favorite baby gift ever is the Bittersweets little letter rings. I like to do it Roman style, and order a teeny size that can eventually live at the top of their finger, or on their pinkie. And, I'm not shy about giving these to boy babies- one day, in the far away future, their lady loves will be over the moon to wear their man's baby ring.

The Catburglar, revisited.

We were really surprised at the amount of attention this post got. Coverage included Gawker, Daily News, Gothamist, Village Voice, Racked, 1010WINS, (which I really wish I heard) and NY1 read it out of the paper this morning. (New Yorkers -you know what I'm talking about.)

To clarify, these were tiny little lockets in a bowl on a table. A kid could think they were free. He didn't sneak into a case or anything.
