I could play a mean game of catch me if you can with my long-haired chihuahua, Teepee, in a hallway like this. We're both relatively short (she, more than me) so this already palatial Parisian apartment would be positively Grand Canyon-like.

Leigh is dolling out the sweetest lollipops to the sweetest babes she knows. And our new Kitten Onesie is going to the babe's babies.
As for Leigh's Chihuahua, Teepee, well she's getting a crop top version of the onesie because she fits into it perfectly and dusty violet is so her color.
Hand-painted lollipops available in marshmallow full and crescent moon and champagne stars.
Custom Chihuahua crop top not for sale. Unless Leigh is willing to make you one.

Sriya

Dream Date: Isaac Mizrahi, circa Unzipped.

In lieu watching the half-time show, or either halves surrounding it, I watched (for the --- time) L'Amour Fou followed by Unzipped. Though Mr. Mizrahi was none too interested in me the time we rode silently in a freight elevator together, I unabashedly dub him this week's Dream Date. And, Mr. M, should you ever put that faux-fur jumpsuit into production, perfect for slipping over a bra and underwear and taking the dog for the chicest walk in town, I would like to put myself at the top of the wait list. I'd also like one in a tiny size for Teepee, my long-haired chihuahua, to layer over her fur. Thanks for listening, Isaac.

Sickish in bed, with Teepee keeping my toes toasty. Reading, resting, puttering around, and up popped a peek into The Cherry Blossom Girl's new apartment; white-washed, beautiful, restful, and featuring a salt cellar from our beloved Flotsam and Jetsam. Salt is a traditional house-warming gift and we think it's just divine to pair this one with some pink Himalayan sea salt. We also love receptacles that are wee and weird, and allow for the quick corralling of bits and bobs, for maximum mistaken impression of neatness.

Putting the kitten in Catbird

Loyal customer and the she behind of one of favorite blogs, TeenAngster, sent us these photos of her kittens, Bug and Dagmar, playing hide-and-go-seek in a Catbird bag. I really hope that Bug and Dagmar come visit and meet Teepee one day and we all play with jewelry and drink milkshakes together. Teepee loves cats.

Emine of Cloven Hoof asked, "What about Teepee?!" So, Teepee answered:
Teepee is a native New Yorker, her favorite design is the Teepee bracelet by Bittersweets, bien sur, she is currently reading Horton Hatches the Egg, she is watching The Fantastic Mr. Fox (her favorite movie), you do not want to know what she is smelling, and her favorite place to eat in Williamsburg is everywhere!

Exhibit A: my 6 pound shrimp, Teepee, taking time to smell the flowers on the counter at Catbird.
Exhibit B: The amazing haul of teeny perfection we scooped up at the gift show yesterday. Rony and I went cuckoo for the littlest of little studs in shapes from snakes to kittens, itsy bitsy pale and glitzy notecards, flower presses for the world's most lilliputian blooms, and piles of diminutive notebooks. Spring is coming up tiny at Catbird.

Bittersweets Teepee bracelet, $325
My sweet pup, Teepee, was the inspiration for this amazingly delicate, gorgeous Bittersweets bracelet. Teepee and the bracelet share the same diminutive proportions and golden color. Teepee barks, the bracelet quietly swings.

Just like I always thought I was exclusively a cat person until I got Teepee, I always thought I was a tarnish person until we got these Cape Cod polishing cloths in the store. It feels real nice to embrace all: cat, dog, dull, shine.
