Skinny Rings

We were beyond excited to have the ladies of The Coveteur in last week. It made us majorly giggle to read their discussion on whether or not teeny, tiny, skinny rings made their fingers look fat. To clarify: NO, those skinny rings totally do not make your fingers look fat!

We are super into skinny rings, in fact, we fully believe, dainty is the new black! So keep them small and stack them up!

What We Love Today: Snake Hand Bracelet

I wore this brass Snake Hand Bracelet all weekend and I highly approve. It makes you feel kinda bad ass, even when you are dressed like a shlub and having a pretty unglamorous weekend. My neighbor took one look and exclaimed uncharacteristically "oh. em. gee.". 

I took it off to cook, drive and sleep (it's not the kind of thing you would live in - unlike this puppy), but otherwise, I was feeling pretty pleased with the extra bit of cool it allowed me, as I trudged along in my standard uniform (jeans, clogs, shapeless sweater).

How We Wear It: Steph G!

There are a couple things that make me instantly like you - you have sparkly fingernails, you're a Detroit native, you can play an instrument just to name a few. Well, let me tell you Steph G not only has sparkly finger nails but she's got fancy ring stacks to match, she wears her Detroit gear very proudly AND she's in an all lady band!!!

Steph is the beautiful badass bass player you'll find on stage with the babe filled band, Desert Sharks (listen to them here).  She has to wear pieces that won't get in the way of her instrument but clearly that doesn't keep her away from shapes of all sizes - from triangles, to moons, to skulls, she wears each shape with such ease.

How We Wear It: Star Crossed Hand Bracelet

I had been itching to see our Star Crossed Hand Bracelet ever since I first peaked at the pavé piece going into production - as soon as I saw it in full force I immediately had hearts in my eyes and literally swiped it off of Rony's hand (seen above).

This lady truly is a beauty, she has a 14k gold adjustable chain, an oxidized sterling silver star with sparkly pavé Indian diamonds. Star Crossed Hand Bracelet, $336.
