The week leading up to Thanksgiving always stirs up a fleeting "food stylist gusto" in me, where I momentarily think of creating a full-on setting with split open figs and pomegranates, golden foliage, and a perfectly glazed piéce de réstistance bird. Though that's never fully been realized, when it comes to culinary daydreaming The New Potato always wins. I've been digging their latest recipes, not to mention flawless plating.
I think post-holidays I'll try a few at my own pace. I recently noticed this PB & J recipe that seems like a good starting point. Of course it had to be photographed with split-open figs. Ha.
