vintage Girl Scout bracelet, $16Truth: I was a Girl Scout, and I loved it. It appealed to the same instinct in me that loved Little House on the Prairie and All of A Kind Family. That is, until 5th grade, when I realized that being a Girl Scout on Long Island in the 80s was going to make my life incredibly difficult amongst girls clad in neon and Z.
