As someone who spent a healthy chunk of the 90's going to flea markets and garage sales, and someone who has a deep love of tins and chipped paint, it is entirely unclear to me how I missed typewriter ribbon tins. I am making up for lost time and have just acquired an actual lot of them.
Some will have to remain in my service holding bobby pins, thumb tacks, and other bits and bobs that are always falling through the literal and figurative cracks. The rest will soon find their new home at catbird.

seriously! never seen these before. great find. alternate use: type writer ribbon holder.
ooohhhhhhh! these are fantastic. I also spent a good amount of time at fleamarkets during the 90s. people often wonder where my collections come from. spend 20 years at fleamarkets and thrift stores and there's bound to be some good that comes from it, I tell them. :)
